AWARDS BANQUET 2026!!

The 2026 Yorktown RoadRunner season finished up on August 24th with the Annual Awards Banquet. This year we had:

10 RoadRunners earn a Bronze Mileage Award (At least 30 miles over the summer)

4 RoadRunners earn a Silver Mileage Award (At least 45 miles over the summer)

12 RoadRunners earn a Gold Mileage Award (At least 60 miles over the summer)

and 8 RoadRunners earn their way into the 100 MILE CLUB!

Also, There were 36 RoadRunners that earned a Commitment Award for the year.

Great job to all 2026 RoadRunners, and we hope to see you back next year!!

Yorktown Roadrunners Awards: 4 X Gold Mileage Award, 4 X Commitment Award Recipient

Other Running Accomplishments: 4 for the 4th Race finisher for 4 years

Other Sports and Activities: All Sports, kayaking, piano

Favorite Subject in School: Reading

Favorite Thing about Roadrunners: Running up the Hill because Coach says it pays the bills (even though I am not sure what that means), and popsicles!

Maizey Talhelm

Age at Induction: 11

Years in Yorktown Roadrunners: 4

Yorktown Roadrunners Awards: 4 X Gold Mileage Award, 4 X Commitment Award Recipient

Other Running Accomplishments: 4 for the 4th Race finisher for 4 years, She Power Race 5K finisher

Other Sports and Activities: Volleyball, Soccer, Basketball, Kayaking, flute, and piano
